About Yungle

The websites marketing teams love to use.

Yungle is an independent web design and development studio from Mexico City. Most websites still belong to development. Every change waits in a queue, and marketing can't move as fast as the market. We build sites that marketing teams own: designed for your buyers, built for the people who run them after launch.

Born in Mexico

Our story ↓

We were our own first client.

I wanted to build many different businesses, across different industries. At one point I was running three at once, and I noticed they all needed the same thing: marketing and sales that actually worked.

So instead of solving it three times, I built one company to solve it for all of them. That company is Yungle.

Why "Yungle"?

We love everything natural, and we were looking for a word that meant diversity. A jungle is exactly that: countless different species growing in the same place, all fed by the same system.

That's what we wanted to be for the businesses we work with. Every jungle domain was taken, and the name was crowded. So we kept the idea and changed one letter.

How we got here

From a side hustle to a growth partner.

  1. Engraved illustration of the canals and trees of Xochimilco

    The first site.

A free website for a school. It grew so much that I left university to commit to Yungle full time.

  2. Engraved illustration of the Agua Azul cascades surrounded by palms

    Growing up.

We grew to a team of eight. We learned that more people doesn't mean better work.

  3. Engraved illustration of the Sumidero Canyon with a river between steep cliffs

    Getting lean.

We rebuilt around a small core team and a curated network of specialists.

  4. Engraved illustration of cypress trees and green hills in the Sierra Gorda

    Today.

100+ websites for brands, plus 20+ projects for clients of top NYC studios.

Manifesto

What we stand for. And against.

Eight rules we work by, with brands and with studios.

We stand for

  1. The simpler solution. It's usually the right one.

  2. Fixing it fast. Then finding out why, so it doesn't happen again.

  3. Caring about your site, your team, and the planet it runs on.

We're against

  1. Websites that weigh more than an apple.

  2. Meetings that could have been a message.

  3. Long texts that say nothing.

  4. Overkill.

  5. Drama and dishonesty.

The people behind it.

Team

One core team leads every project, backed by specialists we have vetted ourselves in design, development, SEO, AEO and CRO. You get one point of contact; we handle project management, quality and communication.

Numbers and proof

Independent by choice.

No investors. No one to answer to but our clients. That's why we can choose the right solution over the profitable one.

We believe a business should create value beyond profit. That's why we work with climate and impact companies, like Toroto and Last Human, and why we build light, fast sites that waste less energy.

Where structure meets nature.

Yungle was born in Mexico, a country where jungle grows through stone. In Las Pozas, Xilitla, concrete arches stand inside the rainforest, and the forest keeps growing around them.

That's how we see websites: a solid structure that stays alive and keeps growing after launch.
