# E-E-A-T

In plain words

E-E-A-T stands for Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness, the framework Google's quality raters use to evaluate content, especially for topics that affect a person's health, finances, or safety. Strong E-E-A-T signals, like author credentials and cited sources, matter for both traditional SEO and AI answer engines choosing which sources to trust.

Example

An insight signed by a named author with a bio and real project experience, and backed by sources, signals more trust than an anonymous post.

    ## What Factors Impact My Website's Search Rankings?

The biggest factors are content relevance, page speed, mobile usability, backlink quality, and technical SEO — like clean site structure and proper metadata. Google now also weighs experience and trust signals (E-E-A-T) — real expertise behind the content, not just keyword-stuffed pages. A technically solid site with genuinely useful content will consistently outrank a flashier site with thin, generic pages.

    ## Will Using AI Content Hurt My SEO?

Google has stated it doesn't penalize content for being AI-generated specifically — it penalizes low-quality, unhelpful content, regardless of whether a person or an AI wrote it. The risk isn't the tool, it's publishing generic, unedited AI output at scale without expertise or fact-checking behind it. Content that's genuinely useful, accurate, and reviewed by someone with real expertise performs fine whether AI assisted in drafting it or not.
