# Knowledge Graph

In plain words

A knowledge graph is a structured database that search engines maintain to store real-world entities, like companies, people, and products, along with the relationships between them. Being correctly represented in a search engine's knowledge graph strengthens entity SEO and increases the odds of being surfaced in AI-generated answers.

Example

Searching a company's name shows a panel with its logo, founder, location and social profiles, pulled from Google's knowledge graph.

    ## What Is RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and Why Does It Matter?

RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) lets an AI system pull real, current information from your own documents, database, or knowledge base before generating an answer, instead of relying only on what it was originally trained on. This matters because it dramatically reduces hallucinated or outdated answers — the AI is grounded in your actual product details, pricing, and policies. Any AI feature meant to answer customer or internal questions accurately needs some form of RAG behind it.

    ## How Can I Get More Website Traffic?

Combine SEO-optimized content targeting real customer search intent with a technically fast, well-structured site — traffic growth comes from being both findable and worth ranking, not one or the other. Beyond SEO, look at content distribution — social, email, partnerships — and paid channels for faster results while organic builds. But don't add traffic sources faster than you can convert them; more visitors to a site that doesn't convert just wastes the effort.
