# Lazy Loading

In plain words

Lazy loading is a technique that delays loading images, videos, or other assets until they're about to enter the visitor's viewport, rather than loading everything at once. This reduces initial page weight and improves page speed and Core Web Vitals scores.

Example

Case study images further down the page load only as the visitor scrolls near them, so the first screen appears faster.
