# Scroll Depth

In plain words

Scroll depth is a metric that tracks how far down a page visitors scroll before leaving, usually measured in percentages (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%). It helps teams understand whether content further down a page, including CTAs, is actually being seen.

Example

Only 20% of visitors reach the testimonials at the bottom, so the strongest quote moves up next to the hero.

    ## Can AI Personalize My Website for Different Visitors?

Yes — AI can dynamically adjust content, offers, and messaging based on a visitor's behavior, source, or known data, showing different value propositions to a first-time visitor versus a returning lead close to converting. This kind of personalization used to require significant custom development; AI-driven tools have made it far more accessible for mid-sized businesses. The tradeoff is that personalization needs enough traffic and data to be worth building — small-traffic sites usually get more value from stronger, single-message clarity first.

    ## Will Using AI Content Hurt My SEO?

Google has stated it doesn't penalize content for being AI-generated specifically — it penalizes low-quality, unhelpful content, regardless of whether a person or an AI wrote it. The risk isn't the tool, it's publishing generic, unedited AI output at scale without expertise or fact-checking behind it. Content that's genuinely useful, accurate, and reviewed by someone with real expertise performs fine whether AI assisted in drafting it or not.
